To Learn Control

“Fear leads to anger.  Anger leads to hate.  Hate leads to suffering.  Anger, fear, aggression—The dark of the Force are they.  Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.”  What Master Yoda said had come true – The Sith Lord Darth Vader had become evil, and he was no longer the young Padawan Anakin Skywalker.  

We know that Darth Vader is a classical image in film and fiction of STAR WARS.  Young Skywalker had been a good pilot, and he might have been the chosen one, but he was not patient enough.  He just wanted to be strong and to learn the how to humans avoid death.  He was a Jedi, but he fell in love, and then, because of his wife, he began to learn from the Sith Emperor, Darth Sidious and became a Sith himself.  Anakin Skywalker meant nothing to him. He was just the black knight.

Why did he turned to the dark side of the Force?  It could be that he could not control himself. He could not control his desire, and his greed.  After he killed Master Mace Windu indirectly, Anakin Skywalker was lost.  Darth Vader followed the Sith Emperor, and murdered most Jedi Knights, even those young Padawans.  He nearly killed his wife, Senator Padmé. Before she died, Padmé told Obi-Wan Kenobi, “There is still something good in him.”

And later, Luck Skywalker said the same thing to his sister, Leia Skywalker.  At the very last of the series, the Sith Emperor was killed by Darth Vader.  He turned back into Anakin Skywalker. This was Luck’s praiseworthy achievement.  Anakin Skywalker began to know how to control himself, and to control the dark side of the human nature.

From him, I learnt that one should control oneself.  One should control his desires, his angers, his feelings, and his behaviors.  Perhaps someone would ask, “What will happen if I just do not control myself?”  Let me tell you.  If someone does not control himself, he will lose his friends, he will fail, and he will commit crimes and will de sent to jail.  He will suffer and feel lost.

To tell you the truth, I had bad temper.  I just could not control myself.  I had made many scenes in front of people I know, my parents, my relatives, my friends, my schoolmates, and even my teachers.  Thank you to everyone I know, because they care even after what I have done. They forgave me.

But after I saw the STAR WARS series, I began to realize that I should be more patient and learnt how to control myself. No one can have their own way to do things in modern society.  One must obey the laws, and obey the moral principles in the world.  Maybe some things are unfair, but we can not break the law, and do anything we want because of those.
